Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can the actors touch you?
A: No, the actors will not touch you and you are not allowed to touch them. However, there is a slight chance that the actors may accidentally touch you due to the dark conditions and special effects inside.

Q: Is the Lincoln Mill really haunted?
A: Yes.

Q:Where do I park?
A:  We recommend parking in the Parkway Parking lot on Venice Island which is an approximately 2-5 minute walk

Q: Can I purchase tickets on site?
A: Yes, but you have to Scan a QR code on site which will direct you to our website ticketing portal.  We recommend purchasing tickets a head of time due to limited availability and getting in sooner.

Q: Is there an age requirement to get in?
A: There are no age restrictions however, the attraction is intended to be frightening and so it depends on the individual’s upbringing and threshold for fear.

Q: Is the attraction ADA Accessible?
A: Yes

Q: Is it Scary?
A: The attraction is intended to be very scary offering many startle scares.  However, everyone has a different scare threshold so perhaps you find out for yourself!

Q:How long is the attraction?
A: We anticipate 45+ minutes from the moment you enter the complex, to watching the pre show, eating food, drinking beverages, and experiencing the haunted house.

Q:How many actors are in the house at one time?
A: Over 30 actors

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: Lincoln Mill Haunted House will stay open rain or shine.

Q: How long is the wait?
A: Wait time varies depending on what day and time you visit.  Thursdays are the least busiest and Saturdays are the busiest.  Wait times get longer as it gets closer to Halloween.

Q: Do you have Queue Line Entertainment?
A: Oh yes.

Q: Do you sell food, beverages and souvenirs?
A: Yes! We sell everything from food to souvenirs.  Bathrooms are available as well.

Q: Can we take photos or videos inside of the attraction?
A: No, Lincoln Mill Haunted House is a very dark attraction and you are not allowed to take photos or videos inside.  When you flash your camera, you are temporarily blinding the eyes of the actor.  If you are media related, please contact us so that arrangements and photo opps can be coordinated.

Q: Can I be kicked out of the Lincoln Mill?
A: Yes, we do not tolerate our actors or props being touched, foul language, pushing, vulgar behavior, weapons of any kind, drugs or alcohol.  This is done for your safety and the safety of our cast members. If warned and the problem proceeds, the guest could be asked to leave without a refund.

Q:Can I go through if I am pregnant?
A: We don’t recommend it, BUT THAT IS A DECISION BEST LEFT TO YOUR JUDGMENT.

Q: Will the attraction change from year to year?
A: Yes, the layout will undergo Room changes with new props, characters, and sets added each year.

Q: Can I bring a backpack into the haunted house?
A: Only small fanny packs, medical approved bags, clutch purse, diaper bag, or clear or solid tote bags are allowed in the haunt.  No bag should be larger than 12x12x1.  Any other bags including book bags, draw strings, camera bags, large purse, duffel bags, etc will not be allowed in.
